We are Marius and Michelle, Scorpion and Lion, husband and wife, bread and butter, oil to each other’s fires as well as each other’s Prozac! We live on a farm on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth. The quiet surroundings fuel our inspiration, keeps us calm and relaxed and is also our own private little playground for photo shoots. Our style is unique (guess everybody claims that) due to the inspiration we receive from every couple. You are unique in the way you met, lived through your experiences together and show your love. Often we comment that every image is like a child to us. We nurture it from the moment it was just an idea or vision in our mind’s eye up to the point where it graduates as the work of art it deserves to be. We are attracted to capturing your most special moments because we love to tangibly reflect your feelings. Die dag was propvol glimlagte, trane en harts oomlike. Life happened and neither of us came around to doing the session (Oliver also works away quite often). so it gave us the wonderful opportunity to also celebrate this life event. It was a hard decision but something that has been coming for a long time. We could not have asked for a better couple to end our journey in East London with. Five years ago we captured Nicole and Warren’s beautiful wedding and this weekend we retraced those steps to capture Nicole’s brother’s wedding to his beautiful bride Natasha. It really was a honor and we felt at home between familiar faces. Laure is from France and Kent is from Australia and they chose to have their wedding here in South Africa as they both love the great outdoors. It is always an elevating feeling to see your work in print and we hope you like it as well! A loving tender couple with a shared vision for the future. Strong winds did not extinguish their happiness and joy on this very special day. Madelein en Henco se troue was stylvol, prettig en bowenal familie gerig. It was a spectacular day full of beautiful moments. Any opportunity to be part of a couple’s true love a moment treasured. This past weekend we had the wonderful pleasure to travel to Stutterheim for Amy and Rob’s wedding. As their minister rightfully remarked, they were the first couple he married (and which we photographed) that got married on a tennis court! This weekend was not the first time we have photographing Julie and her family, in fact we felt and were treated like family when we arrived on Friday evening at Mpotshane Private Game Reserve.
