Weddings create an opportunity for me to capture and document a celebration of love between two people and their unique families coming together. Chuma was just one week away from giving birth when she had her preggie photo session. Baby’s daddy and siblings may join in either at the beginning or end of the photo shoot for some portraits. Londy is so full of energy and is so spirited and delightful. Mlu is a true gentleman who is crazy about his pretty fiancé. Londy is such a great sport, she arrived with her hair beautifully curled, but the wind blew in true gale force and she didn’t let it bother her, she just took it in her stride and literally let the wind blow through her hair while she giggled and posed with her handsome beau. After the shoot we all had a good laugh, whilst walking along the train tracks, fluffy white Coco (who had been perfectly groomed for the shoot) ended up with hundreds of black jacks that we all tried to pick off her long fur. Zan and her bridal party prepared at the luxurious Season’s Find Guest Lodge in Bunker’s Hill and Lundi and his groomsmen dressed at their upmarket home in Beacon Bay. There were so many personal touches to their day and the staff at Umnenga paid meticulous attention to the smallest detail. Everyone was in high spirits, even though it was one of our hottest summer days. The intimate garden ceremony was held under the wrought iron gazebo and guests sheltered themselves under parosols. Zan looked breathtaking and wore two exquisite wedding gowns, from the same designer, with both styles complimenting each other.
